I started off recording this album with the song "Dirge of the Deceased Venus." I remember that I came up with an idea that it would be interesting to attain the kind of atmosphere that Ain Soph and Sigillum S achieved on their split album cassette. Once "Dirge..." was recorded, I decided to make as hauntingly weird album as I could. The mere album title is very evocative, by the way. I tried to make these tracks to be spacious, which alongside with the overall dark atmosphere would create even more watchful and terror-stricken aura.
'Death Songs' consists of five tracks, but I decided to upload also all the material that was recorded during the 'Death Songs' session.
