This is the first album whose credits were ascribed to the name Robert Messner. The release date was set according to the day the last track included on the album was recorded, that is the July 3, 2009. However, the second track dates back even to March 29, 2009, which incidentally speaking, was the first RM's piece ever created. The opening track, however, was recorded shortly after the track number 2.
As far as background information behind those tracks is concerned, 'Surf the Waves of Chaos' uses opening spoken samples taken from a video, 'How to Operate Your Brain,' by Timothy Leary and Genesis P-Orridge; 'The Darkest Place On...' was initially entitled 'The Darkest Place On the Moon.'
